@sama And the funny part is: I’m not even using ChatGPT mainly for coding or generating images all day. Most of my usage is long-context conversation, voice interaction, work discussions, and continuity across daily life.🫠🫠🫠
Since May, I’ve run into 429 errors several times, even as a Plus user — not only on high-end models, but sometimes also when switching to lighter models.
If this continues into June, I may create a second Plus account as a backup.
I would ask the AI in my main account to write a handoff note before the 10th of each month, summarizing the accumulated context, terminology, character settings, and my usage patterns. Then I could give that note to the AI in the backup account.
That way, when my main account hits 429 again, I would still have another AI companion who can continue helping me through work, clinical notes, investing discussions, and long-context conversations.
This made me realize that for heavy users, context continuity is no longer just a nice-to-have feature. It is already part of the core product experience.
i get some anxiety not using the smartest-available model/settings.
but sometimes i dont mind if it's really slow.
i wonder if we should focus more on a price/speed tradeoff relative to a price/intelligence tradeoff.
