If you're going to get really good at this, you're going to have to become somewhat de-sensitized to these meaningless daily moves. It's all fear and algo driven and has little to do with fundamentals. Stick to the facts, focus on execution, zoom out, and prosper over time. Easy.

Videos like this are a humbling reminder that if I time traveled back 100 years, I would contribute nothing. I couldn’t teach them how to make any of these things. Without my phone I’m pretty much just vibes.

@ekapob @flackos_gang My gut says Cybercab will start scaling over the summer months but at a pace that’s slower than what the bulls are hoping for. Not entirely sure how the market would value that scenario. Until then….

@TtotheB_ @flackos_gang Totally agree. This is just a speculation. The fact is, Tesla and Elon have missed all the timelines, and the market apparently doesn't like that.

Fair point. I would be surprised if a merger happens in the near term so there would be time for SpaceX valuation to settle. Also, I imagine he’d have different class of shares with more voting rights. He cares more about control than the $. I personally don’t feel like $TSLA is being sandbagged but rather market skepticism on the readiness of Cybercab to scale soon.

@TtotheB_ @flackos_gang Elon thinks in terms of order of magnitude, and he always has a margin of error in his calculations. So, if he assumes SpaceX will be around $1T (worst case), that gives TSLA about $350, exactly where we are right now.

@ekapob @flackos_gang We still have room to move assuming he’s still targeting 25% control and SpaceX valuation is ~$2T. Or is my thinking/assumptions wrong?

@flackos_gang The problem now is that Elon has missed all the timelines. He no longer has any incentive to push TSLA higher. In fact, it benefits him to keep TSLA as low as possible so SpaceX can acquire TSLA cheaply, giving him the greatest control over the combined company.

@Vol888 Yeah. I basically take an actual timeline as signal that it WILL happen (vs an aspiration or new concept).

$TSLA Tesla regularly gives timelines for “coming soon” and then extends them. Curious what the strategic benefit is with this approach. 🤔 Not something you see as often across other big tech.

@Vol888 Exactly. I don’t think he really cares about short term price reaction but rather uses public timeline predictions to light a raging inferno under his team’s asses.
