A man was seriously injured after a bison threw him eight feet into the air at Yellowstone National Park, according to Wyoming’s Cowboy State Daily, which published footage of the incident.⁠ ⁠ The attack occurred at the park's Bridge Bay Campground on Friday evening, Cowboy State Daily said.⁠ ⁠ Mike MacLeod, a professional photographer who filmed it, said he and other bystanders ran toward the bison after the attack, causing it to flee.
