On Monday, March 30, all @cityoftucson offices will be closed in observance of Dolores Huerta Day. All public transit will operate on a regular schedule. Emergency services and trash pickup will also continue as usual. Regular services will resume on Tuesday, March 31.

Construction on Park Avenue is part of voter-approved Prop 101 – Tucson Delivers: Better Streets, funding major roadway rehabilitation and construction in Tucson. This project includes major water system upgrades, ADA improvements, and a full reconstruction of the roadway.

This closure is expected to take about 2 months to complete. Once this work is complete, construction activities will begin on the southbound lane and only northbound travel will be permitted within the project limits. This work is also scheduled to take around 2 months.

Traffic Alert! Park Avenue Lane Restrictions, 22nd St to 36th St. Starting next Wednesday, March 25, the northbound lane of Park Ave, from 22nd to 36th will be closed to travel. This closure ensures the safety of drivers and crews removing pavement and installing a waterline.

An emergency closure of Congress, from Granada Ave to Church Ave, will take place today until around 4 p.m., as crews remove a damaged Overhead Catenary System (OCS) pole from the streetcar route. A bus bridge is in place while the Sun Link Streetcar is out of service.

🚧 Traffic Alert: Starting Mon, Mar 9, at 12 a.m. there will be no westbound access on Speedway west of Main Ave. After 5 a.m. the roadway will be restricted to 1 lane, for about 3 weeks, while storm drain repairs are done. Access to I-10 stays open. Expect delays in the area.

DOWNTOWN NIGHT CLOSURE 🚨 On Thursday, March 5, E 13th Street, between S 5th Ave and S 6th Ave, will be closed 9 pm - 5 am. This lets crews to haul in roof sections for Armory Park. There will be no parking signs in the area and law enforcement to assist with traffic control.
