Every time a post blows up people complain that I use the term tucute because “that’s so 2012 tumblr” but personally I would argue that transmed is too. The difference is that there simply isn’t a better term for tucute.

Former SJSU volleyball star Brooke Slusser says she shared beds with a transgender teammate without knowing that athlete was a biological male. She says she moved into an apartment with that teammate because her coach encouraged her to. Now, SJSU is suing the Trump administration to challenge an investigation that determined the school violated Title IX, and to reaffirm its commitment to the LGBTQ community, all while Slusser is still working on trying to process everything that happened while she lived in that apartment.
