Thank you @moffat_andrew for your inspiring visit to our school. We’re so proud to be part of No Outsiders. We created a whole school display from the stories you shared with each class 🤩
Year 5 really enjoyed their last DT topic- we made scones! We used a range of different baking techniques to produce some very tasty treats that we all enjoyed!
What a fantastic last Friday afternoon of primary school in Year 6. Playing a load of sporting games in the scorching hot sun! Fantastic to see a group of young people with such a close bond and maturity enjoying themselves. What a group! ☀️☀️
Year 6 completed a Tudhoe Colliery rite of passage - and Tudhoe 30 - today. An amazing water fight! The weather was absolutely gorgeous, the water supplies were well-stocked and we were all very wet 😂 A sun-soaked and water-soaked morning. ☀️💦🔫 🤩
Creative week - Careers! In relation to our local history topic on mining, Year 2 have been learning about other dirty jobs! Our favourite dirty job was a zookeeper and palaeontologist. Our least favourite job was a miner! 🤩
What a fantastic residential visit to London for our Year 5 and 6 children. London Eye, Thames River Cruise, Parliament tour, eating out at restaurants, The Lion King in the West End, Westminster tour and the Natural History Museum. A few photos to get started! More to come!
Year 1 did a fantastic job on their litter pick today. They have been learning about climate change and were shocked to learn about the polar regions ice caps melting!
Year 1 have had an animal filled adventure today @HallHillFarm. We’ve had the best day with our guide Richard! We fed or held goats, sheep, highland cattle, llamas, alpaca, chicks, rabbits, Guinea pigs, lambs, donkeys and more!! 🐂🐏🦘🦃🤩
