@The_One_Boom That's literally what I said to ModernWarzone and he made a correction post then later he corrected that to say PS4 and PS5 can't play together. CoD players just love spreading misinformation

📢 Call of Duty: #BlackOps & #BlackOps2 on PS4 / PS5 PS4 and PS5 players are able to matchmake with one another. There is no cross-platform play with PS3 or other hardware platforms. Also, Season Pass owners are able to matchmake with non-Season Pass owners in both titles.

@GamerCentral_YT I just don't understand how no one seems to get that higher max level doesn't mean longer grind. You can have 10000 levels that can be completed in an hour if each level requires 1 xp

This will be something that happens regardless if the max weapon level is 10 or 100. People will always be ahead and others will be behind.
Sacrificing or axing any short, medium or long term progression systems because you dislike the thought of falling behind isn’t it.

@GamerCentral_YT If the engine change is significant enough it could mean a ton of work to upgrade the weapons along with it so it could be a technical limitation rather than a weird decision

I’m generally team “No/Very limited Carry Forward” for the main annual release games but removing it from Warzone is outright stupid.
I don’t care what it takes or how many technical or balance hurdles they run into. Warzone should be THE place where carry forward is guaranteed.

@RockLeeSmile I don't even believe the engine is inherently bad like everyone seems to now. We keep getting "UE5 slop" but Clair Obscur uses it and looks amazing and runs flawlessly so clearly it's possible to have optimised games on it

Does anybody think this is true from a dev perspective? Genuinely asking. I question the premise that UE5 results in "unoptimized and bloated" projects by default the way it seems to get tossed around so casually.
