United Labor of Tufts Resident Assistants

Last August, we set out to win a real voice over our jobs and achieve fairer compensation and better conditions for all RAs. Just over a year later, we have accomplished exactly that--a cause for celebration for us all.

Finally, we also like to express our solidarity with the graduate student workers and the SMFA part-time lecturers, whose negotiations remain ongoing, and make clear our expectation that the university engages with all of our fellow unions on campus in good faith.

Announcement/Thread: Last Monday, the membership of our union voted 95-4—a 70% turnout—to ratify our tentative agreement with Tufts University administration.
