Türkiye’s F-35 journey finally lifts the curtain – First aircraft officially unveiled in Ankara
A high-profile ceremony just took place. The long-awaited first batch of F-35A jets was rolled out on stage exactly like this.
👉 According to sources on the ground, the aircraft are in “full stealth configuration” and declared “operationally ready”
👉 The red curtains are being read as a powerful symbol: the NATO program doors that slammed shut over the S-400 issue are now reopening
After months of high-level talks between President Erdoğan and Washington, plus the Trump administration’s recent “we are seriously considering” signals, the deal appears to have landed. The jets we already paid for and for which Turkish industry supplied parts are finally heading home.
This development will mesh perfectly with our own indigenous 5th-generation KAAN fighter. Why settle for just one stealth platform when you can have two operating in tandem? Regional air superiority balance restored at exactly the right moment, especially as we continue restructuring state assets to fund major defense projects.
(1 April joke, brothers 😂 Same old theatre, same red curtains… but KAAN is the real deal and it’s actually coming!)

Sibel, I get that you’re angry about things you’re being told or so, but posting this which is visually old and everyone can tell it’s from like 2-3 years ago.
Those B-1 Lancers landed in Incirlik in 2024 after completing normal routine flights within the scope of NATO missions. After the pit stop there, those bombers with Turkish F16 escorts left Incirlik. Later the F16s flew back after the escort was handed over to the Polish.

Türkiye just moved 54 state-owned properties into privatization via the Presidential Decree.
On the surface, it looks like a standard economic decision. But the key detail is where the money is going:
👉 The proceeds will be used for defense investments and military infrastructure.
That changes the picture completely.
This isn’t random. It’s a way of turning unused or underused assets into cash flow for long-term defense projects things like facilities, logistics, and strategic infrastructure.
If you look at the locations, they’re not scattered by accident either.
Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, Kocaeli, Hatay… these are all relevant for industrial capacity and operational depth.
So what’s happening here is simple.
Instead of increasing the defense budget directly, Türkiye is funding expansion through asset restructuring.

With tensions around the Strait of Hormuz threatening global energy markets, it may be time to revisit an old strategic idea.
Qatar should seriously consider reviving the Qatar–Türkiye gas pipeline.
A direct pipeline from the North Field through Saudi Arabia – Jordan – Syria – Türkiye would:
• Bypass maritime choke points in the Gulf
• Provide Europe with a stable gas corridor
• Strengthen Türkiye’s role as an existing energy hub between the Gulf and Europe
• Reduce global dependence on vulnerable LNG shipping routes
In a world where strategic straits can become geopolitical pressure points overnight, land-based energy corridors are becoming increasingly important.
The Qatar–Türkiye pipeline would no longer be just an energy project.
It would be a major geopolitical asset for regional and European energy security.

Interesting. I'm genuinely curious about the sourcing here.
For something this specific (closed-door meeting, exact demands, timelines), what kind of access are we talking about? Firsthand or layered intel?
Also, how does something this compartmentalized even leak at that level of detail?
The ISIS expansion part, especially the 50,000+ manpower and Xinjiang projection, would need serious infrastructure. Where would that realistically be built and sustained?
And on the 6-month compliance timeline, what actual developments since then point to that being in motion?

There is a lot of discussion surrounding the supposed F-35 video today picking up the same level of brightness from the airframe as the exhaust.
Wanted to compare with some old attempted shootdown video screenshots from the Houthis using Iranian-provided equipment.

Mete Yarar, a Turkish security expert and former Special Forces officer, was on the same flight as FM Hakan Fidan heading to Riyadh when this started.
Important detail: the first alerts came in while they were still airborne, not after landing.
Their devices began receiving early warnings likely Turkish intelligence-linked about imminent strikes targeting energy infrastructure in Qatar, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
During the ~4-hour flight, the situation escalated in waves.
By the time they landed in Riyadh:
• consecutive strikes were already underway
• ballistic missiles had entered the picture
• emergency alerts were triggering seconds before impact
• civilians were being moved into shelters
Yarar describes that during one phase of the attacks, people in the hotel were directed to shelters while the foreign ministers still held their meeting despite the attacks.

Türkiye just carried out a full-scale reshuffle inside the Ministry of Justice. Multiple key director-level officials were removed at once: Criminal Affairs, Legal Affairs, Prisons, Personnel, IT, Inspection, Enforcement. And replaced immediately. Not a simple role reshuffle. This is more of a system-wide reset of the justice apparatus. No transition phase. No gaps. Pre-planned, synchronized. This move touches the entire operational backbone: judicial administration, prison system, internal oversight, digital infrastructure. Not a reform on paper. A reset of who runs the system.
