@jchensor There are two types of players of f2p games. Whales and wailers.

Now, this would only work IF they made enough stuff that are NOT premium priced as well. But again, having things for whales to buy works and are good for a game, so long as they have no effect on gameplay. For sure it does suck if you want it but can’t afford it, though.

I agree with Bane, here. I do think this is the right course of action. Whales fund games. It’s an actual business model for F2P games. There just has to be enough stuff to buy. I actually wish SF6 would make a few pricey premium Costumes, Titles, Vs. Cards, etc. for whales.

With as much people say SF6 is “random” and 2 out of 3 won’t give us “true” results, the list of accomplishments for everyone in the top 8 (outside of Micky of course) definitely shows that the best are still succeeding.
