Not only did our @tullyelemjcps get to sit in the VERY front of the @LouBallet Nutcracker but Mrs. Eversons class won the drawing & her class got to meet the dancers backstage! I loved hearing their excitement when they got back. Thank you @FundfortheArts for the opportunity.

Our 3rd graders get to go see @LouBallet Nutcracker today & they are so excited! We have read the story, listened, danced & played instruments to the music... they are ready. Today they came in looking amazing! I cannot wait to hear what their favorite part was! @tullyelemjcps

Our kindergarten musicians have loved learning about the instruments in our classroom! They can name them, tell you how to hold and play them, and know how to take care of them! The drums and triangle are definitely a favorite! @tullyelemjcps @JCPSKY @JcpsMusic #tigerproud

It's an exciting day in the Tully Music room... all of our Kinders have finally COPY CAT! She is a favorite friend in our room who helps us explore our voices! I'm so glad she came back this year for more music making! @tullyelemjcps @JcpsMusic @JCPSKY

Our fifth grade musicians are learning all about the pentatonic scale. They are learning a pentatonic melody on the barred instruments and are improvising their own B section! I love listening to their creations! @tullyelemjcps @JCPSKY @JcpsMusic

Kindergarten loved retelling the story “The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything.” They added instruments to the sound words and of course costumes! @tullyelemjcps

Last week third graders searched the walls to discover the mystery messages our Musical Monster left for them! They did a fabulous job reading the rhythms to decode his special message! @tullyelemjcps
