Chadron got its 1st conference win of the season beating Regis 68-66 on the road on Saturday afternoon (1/10/26). Chadron’s Jr guard Jadon Cool was on fire, shooting 57.1% from the field and going 8 of 9 from the free throw line to lead the Eagles with 25 points. Chadron won the battle in the paint, out-rebounding Regis 36-24 and outscoring them in the paint 30-10. Leading Chadron to the win were: 🏀 Jadon Cool, 25 Pts, 3 Rebs, & 3 Asts; 🏀 Blessing Adesipe, 10 Pts & 10 Rebs (DOUBLE DOUBLE); 🏀 Zach Smith, 9 Pts & 2 Rebs; 🏀 Isaiah Randolph, 7 Pts, 3 Rebs, & 1 Ast; 🏀 Collin Nick, 6 Pts, 4 Rebs, & 1 Ast; & 🏀 Luka Djurovic, 4 Pts & 7 Rebs. Chadron looks to build off Saturday’s win and pick up two more when they welcome Adams St and NM Highlands to the Chicoine Center this week. 3. The Paradox: Chasing pleasure too often leads to pain. Overindulgence dulls your senses. It numbs your drive. And eventually, it kills your ability to enjoy the simple stuff. The things that once made you happy now barely register.

I hate when people say kids today have changed. They haven’t, the adults have. Kids will do what you allow them to do. Adults need to start holding themselves accountable first.
