Uthuman Mugisha Kadiri has been declared the winner of the Hoima District LCV Chairman seat after a hotly contested race with NRM flag bearer Vincent Savana. Uthuman who was in a race as an independent got 25364 votes while Savana got 19541 votes.

Together with technical officials and local leaders, I inspected the ongoing construction works at the Wadelai Irrigation Scheme in Pakwach District today.
This inspection follows a directive from H.E. President @KagutaMuseveni to address the challenges that have delayed the project’s completion.
The project, which commenced a few years ago, experienced setbacks that slowed its progress. To resolve these challenges, a new contractor has since been engaged to complete the remaining works.
During the inspection, I underscored the project’s potential to drive socioeconomic transformation in the area and directed the contractor to fast-track implementation.@NRMOnline @GovUganda @Parliament_Ug @min_waterUg @OPMUganda
