Yes, we were embarrassed by Nolan. Embarrassed his Oddity was an abomination that failed on every conceivable level compared to not only the source material, but other iterations of film. Joe, the feminist who wrote the interpretation that Nolan based his entire film on, Emily Wilson, came out to say the film mishandled Odysseus' character.
