Pantami is about to learn, in real time, the price that comes with associating yourself with politicians and dirty politics. The painful part is that it was completely unnecessary. He could’ve joined a different party, run a clean and issue-based campaign, build on the goodwill and respect he already had, and possibly even win. But instead, he aligned himself with a party many people see as corrupt, heartless, and disconnected from the suffering of ordinary Nigerians.
In politics, perception matters just as much as performance. Once you attach your name to a deeply unpopular system, you also inherit its baggage, anger, and public resentment. Now he’s beginning to pay that price.

Good evening, sir. Sir, my youngest sister, Rukayat Ayoni Lawal, remains in the harsh and harrowing custody of the kidnappers. She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, at Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria, on her way to Abuja with other passengers.
Please, sir, help us to prevail on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT to secure her release.
Tonight makes it her 10th night in the gory den of the kidnappers.
The kidnappers are now demanding 40 million naira ransom down from their initial 100 million naira.

Good evening, sir. Sir, my youngest sister was kidnapped! She was kidnapped on Monday, 13 April 2026, at Kabba, Kogi State, Nigeria, on her way to Abuja with other passengers.
She has been in the harsh and harrowing custody of the kidnappers for 10 nights now. The security agencies have not been able to rescue them.
The kidnappers demanded 100 million naira, but they have now reduced it to 40 million naira.
Please, sir, help us to prevail on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT to order the security agencies to rescue my younger sister and other victims alive and unhurt. Or pay the ransoms for their release.
