Oftentimes I tweet out messages to extend spray intervals when disease pressure is low. This...is not one of those times. Using both the SK Model and your eyes, it's a feisty crop of dollar spot right now.

Prime time for billbug damage in Meyer zoysiagrass. Lots of large larvae, pupae and even some callow adults. But, most of them in our plots are bluegrass billbugs! Revenge treatments aren’t a great of option. extension.entm.purdue.edu/publications/E…

Annual bluegrass weevil appears to have arrived in Michigan and although we don't believe it is widespread at this point, it definitely can cause significant damage as witnessed at one golf course in southeast Michigan. canr.msu.edu/news/suspected…

Results in wheat roots indicated propiconazole uptake didn't require plant energy. Assuming this applies to turf leaves and to other fungicides, it means plants don't need to be actively growing for snow mold products to work. Our own snow mold research also supports this.
