The 6th WCSSP India Science Workshop (9–13 Feb 2026), hosted by MoES at INCOIS, Hyderabad, brings together India-UK research partners to share advances in natural hazard risk-based forecasting. The workshop focuses on strengthening collaboration, enhancing monsoon prediction capability, improving coupled modelling systems, and advancing impact-based forecasting using observations, machine learning and data science. Sessions cover high-impact weather predictability, model development, observation-driven improvements, and risk-based services.
