Rayalaseema won’t just achieve targets, it will take targets down too. Today marks a major milestone in strengthening India’s defence ecosystem, with Andhra Pradesh at its core. I had the honour and privilege of joining Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh Ji in inaugurating the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme facility being developed by the Aeronautical Development Agency under the Defence Research and Development Organisation. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, India is rapidly advancing towards self-reliance in next-generation defence technologies. The AMCA programme will strengthen indigenous capabilities in stealth systems, advanced avionics, and integrated combat aviation. It was a pleasure to meet the Uber global leadership team led by Mr. Dara Khosrowshahi. I am delighted that Uber plans to expand its Center of Excellence in Vizag and considers Andhra Pradesh a strong talent hub for its operations across the country. It was a pleasure to meet H.E. Mr. Philip Green OAM, High Commissioner of Australia to India, in Amaravati today. We had productive discussions on the immense potential of our state and on expanding avenues of cooperation with Australia across higher education and skilling, agri-tech, logistics, green energy, and aerospace sectors.

It was a pleasure to address the CII Annual Business Summit 2026 in Delhi today, where I spoke about Andhra Pradesh’s blueprint for growth driven by inclusivity, innovation, and industrial development. Leadership will be equally important in shaping tomorrow’s world. I am grateful that CII is making progress towards establishing a Global Leadership Centre in Amaravati, positioning our capital as a global hub for leadership development, policy dialogue, and institutional excellence. I thank CII President Shri Rajiv Memani Ji, Director General Shri Chandrajit Banerjee Ji, industrialists, business leaders, innovators, and policymakers who joined us today. On this National Technology Day, Andhra Pradesh also proudly celebrates our students for securing 4 Gold Medals and 14 Silver Medals in the prestigious NPTEL national examinations. These achievements reflect the talent, hard work, and growing technology ecosystem of our state. I encourage more students across Andhra Pradesh to participate in advanced learning platforms, emerging technology programs, and national-level competitions as we continue building a future-ready state under our Quantum Valley vision. Further strengthening this ecosystem, the proposed NIELIT Innovation & Skilling Centre at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, will focus on Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Communication, and Semiconductor technologies. The Centre is planned to begin operations from this academic year itself, empowering thousands of students, researchers, and innovators with world-class infrastructure, advanced laboratories, and industry-driven learning opportunities. Today, I am delighted to announce a large-scale statewide deep-tech skilling initiative in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild, APSCHE, APSSDC, and Amaravati Quantum Valley. Covering Quantum Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Entrepreneurship, this initiative aims to reach 2 lakh learners in 2026–27 and scale to 10 lakh learners over five years through digital learning platforms, industry-linked training, and globally recognised credentials.
