Just trying to make kids more excited about learning an instrument, no disrespect to classical music of course. This genre requires an extreme level of hard work + discipline- so for that I’m grateful to have had access, but we also need to create more demand for it in schools.

@ThreatNotation ‘Twas my final youth symphony concert in 1994. Just before the opening overture, my conductor noticed his fly was down. Not thinking, he turned away from us to discreetly zip up his fly…while facing a packed audience. I’m still cringing for Mr. G. 🤵🏻‍♂️
