Tweetbot and other clients are experiencing problems logging in to Twitter. We’ve reached out to Twitter for more details, but haven’t heard back. We’re hoping this is just a temporary glitch and will let you know more as soon as we know more.

@randyb7914 Thanks for the bug report, should be fixed in the next update.

@tweetbot after this most recent update, videos have no audio if ringer is turned off. This has not been the case for previous versions of the app. I now have to turn my ringer on to hear the audio in videos. Please at least make this an option to disable in settings.

@tweetbot there’s a bug where the wrong user is credited for the linked tweet in a quote tweet. it says the quote tweet author is the author of the quoted tweet.

@tweetbot new update 7.2 has seemed to make sound on videos stop working sometimes reseting app works sometimes doesn’t . iPhone 12 Pro ios16.2

@tweetbot somehow got logged out and now can’t log back in. It’s been about a week. When I try I get “Failed to contact Twitter. Please try again”

@diggory it was a Twitter bug, should be fixed now.

@tweetbot I assume that you already know about this, but Twitter appears to have removed the reporting of which client the posted used.

@lepolt that's a server error on Apple's end. It happens once or twice a year to a subset of people, it's why we created this screen. Not really much that can be done other than waiting until they sort it out.

@tweetbot iCloud syncing from my iPhone/MacBook hasn’t been working for weeks. Any ideas?

@lepolt please look at the Sync Status section in Settings on the iOS app to see if there's any errors listed.

@tweetbot has become useless on my 2nd device as iCloud timeline syncing has been broken for over two weeks. I emailed Tweetbot support 10 days ago but no reply. Can you help me with this? iCloud has no known issues. Tweetbot says it’s getting a 500 error reading from iCloud.

@tweetbot Timeline sync broken globally? My read status has not been working for a couple of weeks at least
