DGP J&K Sh R.R. Swain has condoled the martyrdom of the braveheart HC Bashir Ahmad of J&K Police, who sacrificed his life in an encounter with foreign terrorists in Kathua district. Expressing his deep sorrow DGP J&K conveyed to the family of the brave policeman that the entire police force stands behind it and would continue to do so in future. While the J&K police force cannot bring back HC Bashir, but it undertakes to extend every possible support to the family and avenge the martyrdom of the courageous Bashir who did not fear even death when it came to protecting his community and his countrymen gave hell to the foreign terrorists with his LMG before succumbing to his injuries. DGP also prayed for the speedy recovery of other injured personnel.
