I cried yesterday. Like real tears. And honestly… my heart still feels heavy this morning 💔 I tried. I really tried. I tried everything I could think of. I applied strategies. I stayed consistent. I showed up every single day. But right now it still feels like everything was for nothing 😔 I have just 8 days left to hit 5M impressions on X and I’m currently at 4.4M. Where am I supposed to get 600k impressions from in 8 days? How else am I supposed to do this? And no, this is not a pity post. I just needed to speak. Maybe pouring my heart out will help me breathe a little. Back story… I finished NYSC last year and got a remote job in December as a Social Media Manager. Salary was ₦100k monthly. I worked in January, February, and March. I was only paid for January. No payment for February. No payment for March. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. My client acted like everything was normal and expected me to keep working. I stopped working in March and used my savings to start investing in myself and this platform. After being on X since 2021, I finally decided to take my account seriously. I subscribed to Premium every month hoping that if I stayed consistent, maybe within a few months I’d finally qualify for monetization and start earning here. At the same time, I became a CapCut template creator. I paid for CapCut Pro every month too. After weeks of consistency, my account got monetized. I made $28. Then due to inconsistency, I lost the monetization again. I also have a monetized Facebook account. I’m trying on TikTok too. I even abandoned my YouTube channels just to focus fully on X because I wanted this to work so badly. While doing all these, I still kept applying for remote jobs every single week. No response till today. I even bought an MTN router and kept subscribing every month just to stay active online and keep posting. Heaven knows I tried. Now look at me… No job. No money. No achievement. And now it looks like I might not even hit the 5M impressions after all this effort. I’m 27 and honestly… I feel tired. Before now, I also tried content creation on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. But my camera quality was poor and my content always looked cringe to me, so I stopped. At this point, I don’t even know anymore. Maybe I’m just one of those people that always gets close to success but never fully reaches it 💔 And once again… this is not a pity post. I bought a crate of eggs for ₦6,000 last night & it reminded me of a situationship I was in for a while😭 Story time!!! I met this man on the bus on my way from Ilorin to Bauchi to resume school, he asked the title of the book I was reading and if I had read other works of the author and that was how it started. You would think we've known ourselves our entire life. We gisted nonstop for hours like old friends reconnecting after years apart. About 2–3 hours, hunger started dealing with me 😭 so I brought out my large flask filled with fried Irish potatoes, fried plantain and eggs mixed with plenty fish. Normally, I offered him some, this man did not even pretend small 😭 Immediately he asked: "Is there extra fork?” Luckily for him, I always travel with extra takeaway plastic forks and spoons because till today, that is what I use even at home 🤭 So there we were, two strangers on a bus, eating from one flask like cousins returning from a family wedding. Around 3pm, hunger came again. This time I brought out kilishi and yoghurt.The only problem was I had no extra cup to share the yoghurt with him. This man calmly carried his water bottle, rushed the remaining water inside it, then poured himself some yoghurt 😭 At this point, I had already started wondering: “What kind of hungry man is this?” But I honestly didn't mind because he looked extremely neat, composed and well put together except for the incorrect use of his tenses. 😭 As evening approached, I brought out Pringles, shortbread biscuits, which we took with the water he bought for us. That was when he asked me: “Do you always travel with this much food or today is special occasion?” I explained that road food usually affects my stomach, so I always packed enough food for long trips. Other passengers referred to him as my brother throughout the journey. Finally, we arrived Bauchi around 9pm. Unfortunately, I couldn't reach the cab man that was supposed to pick me up. Luckily, someone was already waiting to pick him up, so they offered to drop me at my hostel. On the way, they stopped at a suya spot to buy Balangu. They left me in the car and returned with three nylons containing what I later discovered to be a full chicken Balangu and Chi Exotic 😭 They handed me one pack and proceeded to drop me off, we suddenly realized we didn't even know each other’s names 😭😭😭 Both of us burst into laughter immediately and exchanged contacts. He promised he would come back for a “proper introduction.” That was the last I heard from him for almost a month. Then one random day, he called and said: “I’m in front of your hostel.” This man showed up with a full bunch of plantain, a bucket of fresh eggs and one cement bag full of Irish potatoes 😭 That was when I finally discovered he was actually a lecturer in the School of Agric and owned a very large farm, which he later took me to see. From that day onward, he became my unofficial supplier 😭 He would randomly stop by with cartons of beverages. I never lacked eggs. I never lacked potatoes. I never lacked oil. Sometimes he would even specifically request: “Please make that type of chips and eggs we ate on the road.” Then he would sit down in his car, in front of my hostel and eat peacefully and supply premium gist. He will sometimes bring me books and recommend some. Life was sweet 😭

Awesome tek, just got some honest reviews👇 I like the concept behind this, the headlines are compelling, notes are concise, the underlying stock is quoted. The market news and trending is packed with a lot of useful info. What's confusing for me is the fact that Market News takes home page whereas it should be top on the trending news tab. Crypto tokens are far off in the corner, whereas this faces more news volatility than even Pre IPO tokens. I think the icons under should have a text with it to signal where a new user oughts to navigate to get to the tokens tab. Wallet icon should be there instead of the current one. If I'm being honest, the app is very laggy on Andriod. I understand it's still a new app. Some of the bugs are visible in this video: 1. App closes when you use the "back" navigation key as seen in the end of my video 2. Motion smoothness is too slow and discouraging for someone like me with an high end andriod device 3. The biometrics pops up even during unnecessary instances, like activating notifications. Also when reopening the app, the biometric login flow isn't smooth Got some other reviews but I'll leave it at that.
