Hot today, hot tomorrow, hot through Sunday. Sunday probably shaping up to be the hottest. Euro ensembles going for a mean daily temp of somewhere between 80 and 90 degrees at MHT Sunday (Sat night - Sun evening). That's how heat related illness piles up, no recovery at night.

Global heat waves are well known to be linked to periods of moderate to strong La Nina episodes, like the one we’re in right now. Rapid urbanization (UHI) and increasing CO2 levels can then nudge the heat higher.
