The Quran was originally revealed to Muhammad to confirm Jesus as the unlettered prophet and confirm prior scripture. He was to be the "seal". The word seal has two meanings, confirmer or final. Therefore he is the CONFIRMER of the prophets. But the verses he received were linguistically assembled to exult anything above the Jews and Christians. If Islam is the "religion of truth" then they should be able to defend this evidence logically without resorting to religious dogma or linguistical slide of hand
