Really really hope this can be translated to english soon. I am working on this exact thing and am struggling on lighting and really need a structured look on how to do this well.

Modeling around 80% for the next environment — building a 5 floor side stairwell. Needs some decals, cleanups on railings to not be sharp, doors on each floor, slight variation in depth of the close wall to avoid a solid block of color. Maybe a prop or two too #indiedev #gamedev

I don’t know man… I’m trying l so hard to build this game in my free time and it’s just so so hard with this job. Constant messages at 9 and 10pm to investigate XYZ problem ASAP, or oncall pages waking me up at 3am that need to be fixed NOW. I wish I had a normal 9-5…

Blockout of second environment in my game. Knocking out 4 blockouts to nail down composition first. Then it’s determining value hierarchy, then color, lighting, atmosphere, texture, then post-processing work and should then have something 80% shippable. #indiedev #gamedev

Some practice… The fact I can do art at this quality tells me I need to step it up and commit to improving the quality of my game’s sprites… Going to put the progress on ice and commit to improvement in 2D and 3D for some time… I KNOW I can do better #rkgk #indiedev

In game player character line work and light map! Each are rendered via a different renderer and tied to their own light layer. The light map defines rim lighting that listens to its own light source to make a character pop from the background. #gamedev #indiedev
