There was a daisy in front of the hospital today. It looked determined to hug a sick kid or something, but it ended up locking eyes with mine, so this unprepared, fragile, yet determined flower started to cry, its tears looked like dew, until the blood on its petals hit my lips.

I think a lot of men (not all) do not want or see value in love. They view love as a liability because it requires vulnerability. What I truly believe is a lot of men only want power and the ability to effect lives without impunity. However, acquiring power requires work and respectfully, a lot of men, not all, are lazy. So, these men settle for the egos shortcut… cruelty. You can grab hold to cruelty, still feel a modicum of power, and not have had to put in any real, consistent effort.

The consciousness you are trying to "ascend" to is already present.
