5/5 Malice by same author next. Guy is good.

What I’ve read (not counting DNF’s) this year… some pretty good ones so far. Starting Hyperion next.

#Obsession (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) is a horror masterpiece. Believe every bit of hype surrounding this movie. Screenplay is fantastic. Inde Navarrette gives an all-time horror performance that I'll remember for decades (she should win an Oscar). Sound design and cinematography are A+. Uncomfortably funny at times, too. Just a total batsh*t movie (highest compliments) from the moment the wish is made. One scene in particular legitimately made my stomach sink to the floor while making every hair on my forearm shoot straight up. Don't wait to stream this. As must see a theater watch as a movie gets. Best movie I've seen this year, and now amongst the all-time greatest horror movies I've ever seen!

@themoviedadsc The one where he sneaks out to meet the other girl too. You can just barely see her eyes and you don’t know if they’re open or not. Brick scene of course, party, and the one close to the beginning when she has dead eyes during a certain activity… messed up lol

@TwoThreeXYZ The bedroom scene where he wakes up alone is one of the most bone chilling scenes I can ever remember watching.

There's like 3 separate "Holy sh*t, WTF" moments that Inde Navarrette does in just this scene alone 😂

Absolute banger. 10/10 hands down. Fun, unsettling, bleak, disturbing, you name it.

Worst part about this movie is that I know there won’t be anything that comes close to it for quite a while
