Je vois certains fans d’OKC qui se contentent des performances récentes de Lu Dort pour lui tirer dessus, alors que le type a incarné et insufflé l’identité défensive de ce Thunder pendant des années, eh bien, c’est bien triste.
Là, tu ne perds pas seulement un joueur de basket : tu perds un moteur, un mec qui a dessiné les contours de ce que tu es aujourd’hui…en plus d’une partie de cette profondeur qui fait ta force.
Hâte de voir le degré d’implication de Shai là-dedans également…

@TwoWayAJD @50NuancesDeNBA chantier du coin ? je suis pas d’accord, le type est NBA ready effectivement, son calme olympien et son efficacité au scoring nous montre qu’il s’adaptera assez vite dans la ligue ! bien qu’il existe des axes de progression j’pense que ce gars sera bon en NBA !

If you still don’t understand why Masai didn’t trade down and used the pick straight up on Morez Johnson Jr…
Just think about how rare his archetype is:
Morez is a 250 pounder true 6’9 without shoes and 20.5 years old with the lateral quickness to guard 1-3, and with the strength to hold off the 4-5 in interior. You can almost never find a power forward like this out in open market without paying 4 first round picks.
Top of my head there’s only 3 guys that I can think of in the past 10 years who got that ability:
1. Bam Adebayo (Perfect comp, at the time of the draft only got a theoretical jumpshot so almost the exact same situation, being a 6’9 undersized C who can’t shoot)
2. Pascal Siakam (Drafted late but wasn’t an actual NBA player at the time.)
3. Pre-injury Jonathan Issac (For those people who watched this demon know what I’m talking about)
There’s guys like PJ, OG or CMB. But they’re all 6’7 and almost cannot count on at the rim. True 6’9+ 250 pounders who can switch through 1-5 might not be Wemby or Flagg level rare, but they’re close. On retrospect, there is no way Masai let Morez slip through his hands. Especially not for 6’4 shooting guards. The pick is as obvious as they come.
