Tamils don't have issues with brahmins who identify as Tamil first and ethnic Tamils. They have issues with brahmins who identify as Brahmin first or Hindu first and masquerade it by terming it as Indian first.

The problem for Tamilnadu will be two things 1) Tamilnadu has lost the face value. Investors would hesitate even to initiate talks. 2) The exposure and links of people like TRB Raja and PTR which helped for investor outreach will be missed. We are definitely going to lose lot of investments going forward.
