Beginning Monday, March 16, contractor crews will close the westbound, outside lane of I-20 at US 259 in Gregg County. Work is expected to take approximately three days to complete.
The one-lane closure will be a 24-hour closure as crews perform maintenance on the bridge. Motorists are asked to plan ahead and drive with caution through the work zone.

Several roads are experiencing high water in Van Zandt County, including FM 1395, FM 859, and FM 47. Remember: NEVER drive through a flooded roadway—it only takes a few inches of water to sweep a vehicle away.
Stay weather-aware and check DriveTexas.org for updated road conditions. (Screenshot taken at 7:46am) #TurnAroundDontDrown

Even though a lot of roads are looking good this Tuesday morning, there can still be patches of ice on side streets and backroads. Especially be cautious where trees cover the road. #txwxsy

Please, if you get out today, give room to our crews, first responders, and utility workers. We all want to get home safe.

Give us space! Our crews are out in force across the state. Whether they're plowing snow or spraying brine, give our folks room to work. Move over a lane or slow down if you see them. #DriveLikeATexan

Crews continue to plow and de-ice on roadways throughout the district. We continue to encourage you to stay home if you can. If you must get out, drive slow and give our crews room. Also, watch out for fallen trees and/or limbs. #txwx
