@ROTS1882 Was a nightmare we slept in an underground car park! There was 1000s on the streets

UEFA got the logistics inside Bilbao right for the final - credit where it’s due. But with far too few hotel beds in the city, fans had to stay in nearby towns like San Sebastián and Santander. This was clearly not even on UEFA’s radar. Two huge British clubs with massive travelling support, yet no extra transport. No late-night coaches. Not even Flix Bus - the “official travel partner of the Europa League” - stepped in. Local coach companies stuck to normal timetables. No taxis. No way home. Even fans staying just 10 minutes outside the city were stranded. We knew San Sebastián was a risk, but seeing kids and young girls sleeping on the streets? Totally avoidable.
