@dadyo32 @steffcwrtmalle It would be interesting to see how it’s insensitive to components given the huge variation in payments for components even among the major milk contracts. Fairly implies compromise (which would have to be the case) which will not be the optimum for all farm businesses.

24 hours into running his own dairy and the reality has kicked in. Slurry pit is full, at least 3 downer cows and 1 cow has calved in the passage! Not even milked yet… #nadoligllawen 🎅

I know a butcher really well… he tells me that ever time they put a stupid programme on TV saying eat less meat their sales go up UP not DOWN People aren’t having this at all - attempts to pin climate change on cows are frankly nonsensical
