Typical small town scene. These buildings used to house viable businesses that provided income for middle class Americans. But free trade, international finance, and open borders (the thing we call "Globalization") killed Main Street. And it didn't just kill cute little downtowns--it literally killed Americans. It also brought financial ruin and deaths of dispair. Now fentanyl is the leading cause of death for Americans or all races between the age of 18 and 45. Trump is trying to restructure the American economy. And if he succeeds it will revitalize places like this. And it might save lives. But who's telling that story? And how many are telling it effectively?
