Little River headed to 1A-I state in Dodgre City as they defeated Oxford in the Canton-Galva Sub-State, 59-53, tonight. LR is headed to state for the first time since 2021 and 11th time in school history. #sportsinkansas

Expectations are always high in Little River (8M-I). LR 🏈looks to be a team to watch in the classification. Head coach Kevin Ayers is one of the best in Kansas with well over 200 wins in his career with multiple state titles at multiple programs including Little River, Wallace County and Jetmore. He is one of two coaches in Kansas history in football to win state titles with three programs, Tom Young being the other.
