When did I say the quran was irrelevant? When did I say BECAUSE there's a bible? Copy and paste it directly. Screen shot it. So, let's start over since you can't handle this. You asked me, do I know when the verse was said. No. I don't know and I don't care. "When" it was said is irrelevant to whether or not it was said. Is that in the quran? Yes. Genocide is wrong. Torturing innocents is wrong. here’s the question: Where does that objective moral standard come from? If there is no God—no transcendent Moral Lawgiver above us—then we’re just matter in motion, products of blind evolutionary processes in a godless universe. Morality becomes nothing more than personal or cultural preference. Hitler’s preference versus your preference. Stalin’s “good” versus Mao’s “good” versus yours. Whoever has the power gets to define right and wrong. There’s no higher court of appeal. It’s all relative. You follow Nietzsche, right? Master versus slave morality? He was honest about this. When he said “God is dead,” he understood the full implication: without God, there is no objective morality left. We have to invent our own values. But those invented values have no binding force on anyone else. They’re just personal opinions. Yet you and I both condemn those dictators as *truly evil*. We don’t say, “Well, that was just their subjective take.” We say it was *wrong*—period. That only makes sense if there’s a standard outside of us, outside of human opinion, outside of power. That standard is God. If atheism is true, you lose the ability to call anything objectively evil.
