@MikeGillShow Those are not difficult free agent choices. Grimes was bad 90% of the year. Drummond quite honestly shouldn’t even on a serious nba roster. Oubre, maybe can stay at the right price.

I keep seeing the trade Embiid and George posts... I find it extremely hard to believe another NBA team would take either deal - more likely George than Embiid's Likely a coaching change, possible GM - but a new GM isn't going to have much to work with here. Sixers also have FA questions: Oubre, Drummond, and Grimes - 3 guys that actually "contribute" - Not sure how they really make this team much better or different next season. One area that NEEDS to be looked at is player development. Look at the guys who leave the Sixers and how they produce elsewhere McCain and Joe in OKC and Julian Champagnie in SA are three players who help championship-level teams, but couldn't find regular roles in Philly. Tough to build around a 6'2" score first guard...But Maxey and VJ are a start.

If the Sixers wanna tank, they aren’t in a bad spot to do so. But, they need to FULLY tear it down and build around VJ if they want to. -They own all their future picks outside of 2027 which is top 8 protected. -2 future Clippers picks (2028 1st and 2029 swap) -They can trade Maxey for a HAUL of picks -Trade Embiid to contender and get whatever they can for him. -Dump Paul George for ANYTHING that involves a pick/picks even if it comes with bad contracts

Look I’m happy we beat the Celtics. That was a really nice series. However, losing again in the 2nd round while Morey punted on the season during the trade deadline stings. This team has no direction with PG/hobbled Embiid. We’re wasting Maxeys prime.
