The past football season served as a redemption tour for the @SaugusFootball1 program. Several players delivered breakout performances, but three stood out, with two setting new program records. hometownstation.com/santa-clarita-…

Huge come-from-behind win by @SaugusFootball1 last night against Calabasas in an incredible overtime rain game in the D7 @CIFSS quarterfinals. The offense ran through @Ty_Hall3, who scored all of the Centurions’ points in their 28-27 victory. Hall was quick to defer the praise. “It’s all props to the team,” he said. “I can only do what they let me do—and what the Lord lets me do. Props to all 62 other guys.” When asked about the moment, Hall replied, "Well, I've always dreamed of playing in the rain and then making a playoff game at home. No student section but it is what it is. I'm here to play football, so we're all so excited.....” For the players, this was uncharted territory, but for Hall, it was an experience that could have been halted multiple times due to past injuries. He has since healed and come back stronger. "You just gotta keep pushing… I’d rather die on this field than give up," said Hall. Saugus will travel to Apple Valley next week for their semifinal matchup with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
