There's not a whole lot more that pisses me off as much as the insinuation that my hard physical labor standing in place getting out food and running a solid operation is due to connections and not my actual hard work.

Can't run a store or get anything done with connections. Couldn't give a shit less.

I have no idea whether he did or not. This was hearsay from Beth. At the end of the day from my own perspective, she sucked at general operations, which is a completely different subject.

Beth wanted him fired, she should have done it herself.

Writing up and terminating Jamie johannsen over what she thoight was a stolen 100 dollar bill and having me present it to him, was completely Beth Roach's idea, it was one of the dumbest and most unprofessional things she ever did, and she should have been fired for that.

As I said before, inventory counts tended to be kind of sloppy from upper management. So was quality control.

I don't believe he was a competent assistant manager though, and I wasn't happy as a shift lead for them, mostly due to accounting reasons.

Matt Wood was a good guy. Worked with him for 3 and a half years at Pizza Hut across the street, didn't see him again for 3 years, and ended up transferring back to south store to work as a shift lead for him and Tony.

I was probably one of the most aggressive managers in the company for making sure the store was stocked up on product for the daily sales. Rather than just letting product run out in the middle of a rush.

We had two trucks to receive and post, the general inventory from commissary, and the Pepsi truck. And I often needed to, on my own initiative, print up product usage projections from the system, perform an inventory count, and then call around to other stores for product.

Well, worst case scenario, drive into the valley for orders tomorrow, find a soup kitchen, and wait for 200 bucks on Thursday, and then leave for San Francisco and san jose.

As a former Assistant Manager, I just happen to be sick of working for General Managers who are incompetent and more worried about petty bureaucracy and power moves rather than focusing on the dinner rush and getting things done.

So no, office work does not suit me, because I am at my core a cook, who can run a restaurant.

Second dinner rush was usually around 7 pm and would last until around 8 pm.
