I started Amazon June 2023 with a full time job doing 100% FBM and was able to quit my job November 11th. I didnt have the best start but I knew I needed to make this work, now a year later Ive already surpassed my 9-5 income and am going to hit 100k+ profit my first year full time. Its possible you just gotta put your head down and WORK!

there is always at least 40% of my inventory in "Reserved" between fc transfer and just checking in. I can only imagine the sales if it all went live 😂

100k months are a world of difference when you go from 10% to 20% margins, the switch into food/supplements is the best business decision ive made to date. ( yes this was forced when i got hard gated in 90% of my inventory, a blessing in disguise)

@HolmsieCooks nasty profit margins, makes it easy to scale though! im sitting at 30% right now but want the final to be 40% when i get some review and such to back up the higher price

PL Performance in the last 30 days Back ordered for month+ due to check in times Low stock = no ads, 50% gross margins Slowed down for prime day since I didn’t drop prices (competitors dropped theirs 50%+) New products in R+D while waiting for 2,000 unit restock of this one

@jimpate2020 @ajassy ever since then ive at least been getting 2week to 2 month warnings on gating but i 100% agree, its more work to send it back then to sell it. Ive long since stopped trying to make sense of if though, Amazon will do Amazon Crap

@TylerDeVerse What burns my ass about the whole thing is that it was unnecessary! Amazon could've have easily just said "You are no longer allowed to list additional units of the following items. You will be allowed to sell thru your current stock. That freakin' simple... @ajassy

Lets compare numbers, for those of us who got the hard gate last november how much do you think it costed you between all the fees and such? i had 3k units and after inbound, removals, selling other wise for lower price outside of Q4 im probably in the negative by about 20-25k

@re_fba im trying to downplay it for my mental health too but wouldnt be surprised if its 30k with opportunity cost factored in, still got 300 units left

Oof man, yeah I’m probably right in that range too. I had little less FBA to remove, but a lot of FBM selling off peak pricing. So would say yeah pretty safe $25k on the fees/loss on products sold. But then gotta add opportunity cost of having money tied up for what ended up taking 6 months. Then I had a loan that was mostly spent on this gated inventory so add interest, and then of course all the lost time and effort put into liquidating these things at break even. Lastly, and most costly of it all is the daily cost of missing future profits on the gated brands we knew and loved. Lots of guys making multi 5 figure profits on these brands with the decrease in competition on them now. Hard to quantify, but it’s not a small number haha

Aura does what Bqool never could, this usually sells at $45.... i almost doubled the BB on this sale

Amazon Experiments are a must to be running 24/7, i jsut finished a Title Experiment and the 2nd version had a 4x conversion rate! same views and 4x the sales, always aim to improve!

@EMPYAT5 @7FigSaykho the very reason the nike gate was a blessing in disguise, use to run similar numbers but running about a 18% margin this past month, health and wellness can hurt the account health with IPs and such but worth the improved margins

@7FigSaykho 11% margin after all expenses??? Brotha ur like a few violations / missed calculations from being fried………. Im operating at 22-24% after expenses and im trying to push that up to 30% No better way to make more profits then fix your business. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I average ~11% margins after all expenses If I sell $100k/m, I earn $11k/m pre-tax I'll be doing 3 things to get that % up: 1. Buy more - Increase weekly spend - Right now we spend about $11k - $16k weekly. We'll get that closer to $18k - $20k weekly 2. Sell more - Dilute OPEX% - More inventory = more sales. Keeping overhead the same = more profit 3. Do more FBM - I sell a lot of shoes. Shoes have 20% refund rates. FBM will reduce this leaving more profit The team is already working on everything above. Finally getting back into a groove on amazon, been having high highs and low lows haha, grateful for @AllOutTompsons prep center for ripping FBM for me these past couple weeks, lets hope it keeps up!

@HolmsieCooks why create a new listing vs adding a double pack to the existing one to share the reviews?

Can someone help me make sense of this? Made a new two pack listing for my PL It has no reviews I’ve sold 6 of them today Haven’t sold any of my original listing, which has 17 reviews at a 4.6 star average What is going on?

@TonyGainzzz just got reimbursed $350 for $610 in lost COGs, my claims are always denied

Anyone has built a system for claiming reimbursements from being reimbursed less than your COGs? I know it’s hard to get this money back but it can be done. I’ve done very well so far but I haven’t been able fully automate it in an efficient way to my VA. I’m always getting my money back if I fight hard enough, but it’s just a hassle going through each ASIN 1 by 1. Any recommendations? @JeffSendsIt @SeanKaupp @joeypraete @fbaworshiper @maxshoyat
