I’ll go on record now. I don’t hate the Mansoor Delane pick. The Chiefs lost just about everyone at DB this offseason, and Williams and Fulton are the projected starters. I like Bain, but technically, they have more at DL than DB. DB logically makes sense as a higher need.

Jackson County residents upset that Clark and Co are leaving KCMO for KCKS like we didn’t have 60% of voters tell them “no” is wild.

Phillip Rivers is insulting just about every QB in the league right now. Hasn’t played in the NFL in 5 yrs, comes out of retirement & barely loses to the SEA who are SB contenders. Now he’s putting SF on the ropes in his 2nd game. Why can’t these other QBs make it work & he can?

@vikesroyal If Jackson County is smart they will pivot and do a full court press to keep the Royals in Jackson County. At this point, what is so lucrative and valuable downtown that having a stadium will do more damage than benefit by losing it?

@TylerDierking Will the Royals ever pull their heads out of their rear and figure their 💩 out? By 2031? Doubt it.

Everything coming to fruition. It was predictable that saying “no” to the Royals and Chiefs would result in them leaving. Jackson County played chicken with millionaires and billionaires and the “no” voters who were adamant that this wouldn’t happen now look even more foolish.

“Staying put” isn’t any option. They either move downtown or they potentially move to Kansas. Which will economically destroy Kansas City more. Which saying no to the Royals is essentially saying no to the Chiefs, who can move anywhere they want if they wanted.

Hard to draw up a worst start to a must win game for the Chiefs.

If MU had a legit QB, they’d be a dangerous team. The defense and running game is legit. But when opposing teams that are ranked know the QB can’t throw it’s easy to flood the line so the running game can’t get going. QB needs to be Drink’s top priority this year in the portal.

Good lord, the officials can’t help but be apart of this game. Every other play for the Chiefs on offense is a penalty.

Bo Nix seems like a “game manager” type QB. Another QB similar to Alex Smith. Won’t necessarily lose the game for you, but won’t consistently be the difference maker and reason you win either.

The fact that the Chiefs have opted to go for it on every 4th down so far shows they don’t trust Butker anymore. He’s altered every game in a negative way. Time to find a new kicker.

Both INTs Pribula had today were forced errors. Both overthrown, both straight into the hands to the defense. Meanwhile, a WR with a higher chance of success was sitting by the sideline.

Not every trade can work. I think we can definitively say the Bailey Falter trade falls under that category. Since coming to KC: 4.0 IP, 7 ER against BOS 4.0 IP, 2 ER against WAS 2.0 IP, 2 ER against CHW 1.0 IP, 4 ER against DET He has 4 games, 11.0 IP and 15 ER. A 12.27 ERA.

2nd and 3rd, no outs, the top of your lineup comes up. India strikes out. Bobby walks. Vinnie lines to the 2nd. Garcia strikes out. Zero runs score. Horrible baseball.

The Royals have too many positions locked in for the next 2-3 years to not be competitive. The best part of the Lugo extension is Carter Jensen is staying in KC system and could be up sometime in the next year. A lot to be optimistic about. A new era of baseball in KC for sure.
