Attention MVPs, this Friday morning at 9:00am PDT we will be entering Maintenance Mode to make a few quick fixes and bring Jason back from vacation. We'll keep you posted on the status.

@TylerGary @multiversus Also, none of those are platform fighters. People who play Smash aren't necessarily people who play shooters. Let's not forget XDefiant launched the same time ish. I haven't loaded that game since. I'm not alone.

Weekly telegram for the MVPs! This week, there will not be a new Rift. Catch up this week and prepare for Megalodog's big entrance next week. There will be 3 more Rifts till the end of Season 1. We are deep in preparation for the big mid-season patch coming next week. This will include numerous character balances, additional content, and returning features such as spectator mode and free for all. Moving forward we plan to have one massive balancing patch at the mid point of each season. We'll still have fixes where needed, but the mid-season patches will be our bread and butter.

@GabuFGC @WeezSays @multiversus THANK YOU. I don't think its asking too much for them to launch ranked. If you disconnect all the time then don't play ranked, pretty simple concept. A game that is constantly dropping new characters will always experience unbalance... that's just life.

@WeezSays @TylerGary @multiversus NGL, The netcode is actually pretty great. The servers are ass though, especially on consoles and even worse on Xbox. Feel bad for Xbox players. But I don't think those are reasons we can't have ranked. Being forced to play against casual players with PVE stages isn't as fun.

@WeezSays @multiversus I've never disconnected, get better internet... Ranked was fine in the original beta... why tf you need 2 betas?

@TylerGary @multiversus Yes, let's launch with Ranked when our net code sucks, we have disconnects on all platforms, a metric tonne of bugs, features missing And a completely unbalanced roster we didn't have another beta to figure out. It's been a month. Jesus Christ. Take a breathe dude.

@WeezSays @multiversus I could care less about the characters... all I want is ranked. Feels like I'm wasting my time otherwise. They had NO games to compete with when they launched. Now they will have to split time against Valorant, Marvel Rivals, and whatever competitive game is current for plyrs

@multiversus Let me ask anyone playing this game how many characters come out per season on Overwatch? Smite? Apex? Valorant? How many maps? Oh .... Okay how about Smash? Oh .no seasons? Ah. Stop calling it a dead game because you think they should put out a character every week. Jesus

Hey MVPs! After collecting a ton of data, we're happy to share that our disconnect rates have been dramatically reduced on all platforms including XB1 and PS4. With the patch that went out earlier today, we fixed an issue where the game was incorrectly treating a long loading screen as a network timeout. We believe this was causing the high disconnect rates on PS4 and XB1. We have been monitoring and believe the patch has dramatically lowered disconnect rates on PS4 and XB1. Please let us know if this has improved for you! Thanks to everyone who reported this issue and provided additional data - keep your reports coming!
