Clay Holstad’s 56th minute goal put an end to his infamous (to probably only me tbh) shot on target drought at 1815 minutes, or 30 hours and 15 minutes. His previous one was in the 88th minute of the Tide’s win against NCFC on 6/14/25. The attack is healing. #UpTheTide

I'm struggling to put this game into words. Looked good going forward again, especially in transition. But looked so much worse defensively, way too many moments where someone switches off. That how goals work, but we've got 5 rough ones conceded in 2 matches now. #UpTheTide

@James_Bessette Love them or hate them, draws have been the reason why this team has had the opportunity to make 2 deep playoff runs. Not all draws are created equal, but it’s a step in the right direction from a performance standpoint and counts as 1 point like the rest will.

@TylerJHatch But they didn’t win. They now have more draws/ties (24) through 65 regular-season league games in their history than wins (22). Also, in each of the first two years, it took this team until late June to win a home match. Glad they shot more, but c’mon now. Wins get attention.

RIFC recorded 23 shots today. They did not attempt more than 17 shots (10/24 at New Mexico) in a single match for the entirety of the 2025 USL Championship regular season. They were wasteful today, but at least there were chances created to waste. The goals will come. #UpTheTide

In fact, they equaled their club record for shot attempts in a regular season match. They also had 23 against FC Tulsa back on September 21st, 2024. #UpTheTide
