@USUtheRightBlue He contacted me after I committed to USU. At that point he had just taken the job at Weber. And he congratulated me and told me it was a fantastic choice and I would do great there. Thought it was so classy since he wasn’t even at USU any more.

@TylerNewbold I think I remember him at Stew Morrill basketball camp. He had a great pipeline between him and Verlin.

Coach Rahe was one of the best. He helped recruit me to Utah State and I respect him so much. Well deserved honor. One of the great ones in that business.

@For3JT I’m glad I didn’t tho. I think there are plenty of drawbacks to it for kids who do it for athletic reasons only. I get why the rule allows it for legitimate scholastic reasons. I’m just not a fan.

@TylerNewbold You could’ve reclassified. And it’d have been totally within the rules.

The age eligibility topic is a hot one right now. 35 states in the country have the cutoff age set to August 1 or before. Only 10 have it as September 1. Utah is one of them. It's an archaic rule. So many sports are already in full swing in August. Need to change this ASAP!

People legit kept saying the World Cup is rigged for Messi and Argentina because they got Cape Verde in the draw. People, Cape Verde would've probably eliminated half the bracket at the tournament. They are absolute monsters.

BEYOND disappointed in the alleged new rules disallowing club sports from using any Utah State branding. I am flat out baffled by the decision. Club sports have been incredibly successful and have done nothing but grow the brand nationally for YEARS. What are we doing here?
