Knicks were desperate to get Merrill off of guarding Brunson and wanted Harden matchup every time down. Crazy that Cavs didn’t take Harden out after he got scored on 5 times in a row isolation.

- Pac-12 rose above its expectations for annual conference distributions. - Secured a TV package where 100% of its football games land on linear TV. - 1/3rd of all games are on free-to-air TV, 3rd best in the country just behind the SEC and Big 10. Can’t make this up.

@ScottyGZone I agree. The narrative that he wasn’t good for USU is very short sighted.

Congrats to Coach and his family. He helped me out so much in my first year as the play by play guy at USU. As gracious and welcoming as any coach I've worked with. With the great teams he helped build and coach with Stew at Utah State, he should never have to pay for a meal in Logan.

@BullSheetAlumni While his head coach time at USU wasn’t ideal. I disagree that he was not successful at USU. Was a tremendous assistant for Stew on some of the best teams the school ever had and had a huge part of it.

Congrats to him on retirement. Although he was not successful here at USU. He did lay the foundation for the success and run we’ve had. Major props to him.

Congrats to @DuryeaTim on a great career! I was fortunate to be coached by Coach D and loved my time around him and his family! Enjoy the family and retirement Coach!

Source: Utah State, Oregon State, Colorado, and Washington State are in the 2026 Acrisure Series this November in Palm Springs. Other confirmed teams in the event: USC Saint Louis South Carolina Stanford Arizona State Grand Canyon Nevada Santa Clara Matchups are still TBD.

@BoozeCougs I don’t think we should be offended at all. BYU doesn’t play road games against anyone in the Non Conference. Didn’t have any last year.

BYU under Kevin Young does not schedule home and homes. I’m sure he will eventually but those will be very rare. Why do USU fans think they deserve special treatment and cry victim if they don’t get what they want?

Honestly, why is Utah State playing home games? If they're such a great team, why are do they insist on playing at home in the Spectrum? Sounds like they're just scared of more road games. Very scared team.

@croslandrock @BurqueRudeBoy “G5 team” is football brainrot. In basketball, USU has made 4 straight tourneys and has wins in 2 of the last 3 years. Logan is not beneath you. It would literally be a Q1 game. Just recognize that your school decided it was not worth the risk.

@tvbudge @WCCSG_ That 2009 one felt different on the court even though I’ve been in plenty loud ones there. So fun.

When you were playing. Utah. 2008. When Boylen smashed the clock. Tai with the tip-in to win it. The Nevada “can-you-hear-me-now” game in 2009 was also extremely loud but I was at the top of the Spectrum for that game instead of my regular seats down low so it didn’t go silent for me but I know it did for others.

@WCCSG_ Probably Utah at Utah State in 2000, the year after Utah went to the National Championship game. Aggies won by 1. The building was so loud, the wall of sound so complete, it went silent. I’ve only experienced that strange phenomenon twice in my life. Both were in the Spectrum.

@BrighamFBcov @For3JT I just think it’s wild that schools don’t play on the road until conference play. Not necessarily hating on it. Just think it’s kinda nuts that teams play 12-13 games before heading on road.

@For3JT @ScottyGZone @tlacomb Definitely a Q1 game majority of time. And many years based on history it’s a top tier Q1A road game for anyone playing up there.
