@ColoradoRapids I cringed watching these same type of clips with Armas even in a win. He was like a pro wrestler who just didn't have the gift of gab and it was painful to watch. This guy has it!

BREAKING: The Colorado Rapids have signed American defender Reggie Cannon, per sources. Cannon, 26, has 28 caps with USMNT. Left QPR this summer and was a free agent. I’m told his agreement to leave QPR was set on Aug 14, making him eligible to be signed as a free agent now.

There were 32 MLS players in the world cup including 1 in the final. It's more than decent soccer. Plus it's the only sporting event in town you can legitimately tailgate at.

@FlemingSport Richard what do you honestly think are the reasons we don't seem to land many players like this? Are our purse strings just too tight? Do players not want to play in front of a usually sparse Dick's crowd that doesn't have a great atmosphere? Something else?

@RapidsJason I thought Aigner looked good when he played. He saw Anthony Hudson for what he was, had a falling out with him, and refused to play for him. He turned out to be right and that incident probably helped others notice more quickly how big of a fraud Hudson was. Not a bad transfer.

This is an unsourced report, so take it for what its worth, but the Evening Standard in London is reporting that there was no fee paid for Trusty. Which makes it a really bad move, and leaves Kellyn Acosta in a position of being rightfully pissed at the team.
