Keeping Mayza over McCambley is the move I disagree with. I don’t think they need 4 lefties in the bullpen, and I was hopeful to see McCambley develop as the season went on

Phillies announced that LHP Tim Mayza and INF/OF Dylan Moore have made the team.

A good move for both sides. The Phillies did right by Cristopher Sanchez to give him the money he deserves, and Sanchez is now a Phillie through, at least, 2032.
Top of the rotation is locked in for years to come.

The Phillies are in agreement with Cristopher Sánchez on a new six year contract, which starts in 2027 and runs through 2032 with a club option for 2033.
