May 5th is known as Liberation Day in the Netherlands. In the final months of the Second World War, Canadian forces were assigned to liberate the Netherlands from Nazi occupation. The great bravery and sacrifice of Canadians were not the only help our country gave the Netherlands during the war. Some members of the Dutch royal family found sanctuary in Canada during the war and Princess Margriet was born in Ottawa in 1943. A great evening @RchsCardinals as I presented to the @HolyCrossElem and Immaculate Conception students and families on transitioning from Gr. 6 to Gr. 7 and the new adventures that awaits. A pivotal time for the students. Thank you everyone for coming out.

I had no idea it was national Vice Principals Day until I walked into my office this morning and the place was awash with gratitude. The staff and students @HolyCrossElem are the best. Handmade deliveres cards, decorations, and sugar coma incoming.

@DrBradJohnson I visit classrooms to watch amazing educators in action. Not to judge...but to watch is awe as they shape the next generation of leaders. I work alongside some of the best at @HolyCrossElem within @NLSchoolsCA .

It is always a great day to celebrate our @NLTeachersAssoc colleagues in substitute roles. Our schools within @NLSchoolsCA would not function without them. They lead when we are not in classrooms to do so. They are the glue that holds schools together. @HolyCrossElem has the best
