A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies

Enjoy every moment.

To be great, you have to have an ego big enough to believe you are “that guy,” but also small enough to recognize you don’t have it all figured out. You need a winning environment around you (coaches, spouse, family, trainers). People who push you to be better.

Younger me would think I’m the coolest. And that means a lot to me.

Life is too short not to give it your all, brother.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

If two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Ecclesiastes 4:11

Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Left to my own devices. I would have never turned to Jesus, but He chose me. That’s the most humbling thing a man can sit with. You didn’t find Him. He found you.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ “We love because he first loved us.”

On my own I am broken, incapable, sinful, lost, destructive, hateful, lustful — the list goes on and on. But because of what Jesus did for me, I am now holy and blameless.

What we think true strength is: -I can do it -I am capable -I’ll figure it out -I’m in control What true strength is: “Apart from Him, I can do nothing.” John 15:5 True strength is the admission that without Christ, you have none.

“There is no such thing as a great man of God, only weak pitiful, faithless men of a great and merciful God.”

I expect excellence from myself. Pure excellence.

This world is all about I, I, I. I can do nothing. I am not capable of anything without Jesus Christ.

Genesis 2:18 — It is not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.

The question isn’t why it’s hard. The question is whether you’re going to be ready when it gets harder.
