Where are all my real contractors at? This is premium LP SmartSide board & batten siding. Two major installation mistakes that are so bad the entire house’s siding is getting ripped off and thrown in the dumpster. Experts— what are the two fatal errors you see? Newbies… this is why homeowners don’t trust contractors anymore.

Good morning and happy Saturday, @BradDuplessis ! How is your new job at V2X going? Just joined in December huh? Did you skip your ethics briefing, where they tell you to avoid corporate reputation damage through ethics violations like doxxing? Here’s their contact info: Employee Ethics Support Helpline: 844.601.1867 Corporate: 601.607.6064 Ethics2@vtxco.com (legacy vertex). I’ll be calling to alert them to this serious lapse in judgment and ethics from one of their employees. I also know their corporate leadership…we run in the same circles. As I said, buckle up buttercup. @DataRepublican @CynicalPublius @0hour1

Amazon should focus on the fact that it will fall roughly 1,000 satellites short of meeting its upcoming deployment milestone, rather than spending their time and resources filing petitions against companies that are putting thousands of satellites in orbit.
Sawyer Merritt@SawyerMerritt

NEWS: Amazon has filed a formal petition calling on the FCC to deny @SpaceX’s 1 million-satellite proposal for orbiting data centers, going as far to claim the project would take “centuries” to deploy. Amazon: “Deploying the proposed million-satellite constellation would take centuries, even assuming the availability of all global launch capacity to do so. In short, the Application seems to describe a lofty ambition rather than a real plan—and a speculative placeholder rather than a complete application under the Commission’s rules.” 🤦‍♂️

No such thing as bad press, but I figure the video should be posted to my actual profile. Maybe I'll get as many views as @MagneticNorse. I'll pin the link in the comments for the people asking for it.

Pretty on the nose comingfrom you @kajakallas. All while you are backing the DSA to regulate US platforms like X to fight the ghost of "misinformation" when we know you are just afraid of the people having access to the truth. The irony is a just too perfect too, that you are throwing a trantrum about it on X, the platform you're trying to censor and fine into submission. But still you label the US visa bans on the DSA architects like Breton an attack on EU sovereignty. We all see right through the grift.

The decision by the U.S. to impose travel restrictions on European citizens and officials is unacceptable and an attempt to challenge our sovereignty. Europe will keep defending its values — freedom of expression, fair digital rules, and the right to regulate our own space.
European Commission@EU_Commission

We strongly condemn the U.S. decision to impose travel restrictions on five European individuals, including former Commissioner Thierry Breton. Link to full statement: link.europa.eu/NtMX4K

Man Hegseth’s comment is basically the polite diplomatic version of “shut the hell up until you know what you’re talking about,” because anyone who’s ever even heard of Admiral Mitch Bradley knows the dude isn’t some trigger-happy cartoon villain, he’s a walking encyclopedia of discipline who’s been making life-or-death calls longer than half these armchair analysts have been alive, and Hegseth saying he knew him back in DEVGRU is code for “this man is the real deal, not the propaganda boogeyman the media keeps trying to Frankenstein together,” so the fact clowns are out here acting like they cracked the case from their couch is laughable, Bradley doesn’t sneeze without thinking five steps ahead, and until actual evidence drops, the loudmouths pointing fingers are just exposing how little they understand about command, combat, or reality.

Just consulted with young couple. US citizen petitioned her Yemeni fiancé abroad, & application refused under travel ban. I had to explain how they must married & start over with new I-130 & process will take 3-4 years. Another example of Trump causing pain to a US citizen.

@Campbell4TN A. Elon has been a U.S. citizen since 2002 — longer than you’ve been in elected office. B. Tesla, SpaceX, Starlink, and Neuralink have done more measurable good for humanity than your entire legislative record. C. Nativity tests for citizenship are a weird flex for a Democrat. @Grok explain the receipts.

A. This is not your country! B. If America survives it’ll be despite your deplorable values and assault on our country. C. The fact that you’ve not employed your obscene and undeserved wealth to make the world a better place tells us all we need to know about you.

I served as a JAG on active duty for 4 years and in the reserves for 21. If the Washington Post report is true, then a war crime was committed. U.S. military cannot intentionally kill defenseless survivors. Simple analogy: Can military execute terrorists held at Guantanamo? NO.
Alex Horton@AlexHortonTX

Exclusive: Hegseth ordered everyone killed in the first alleged drug boat strike on Sept. 2, prompting a second hit to finish off survivors in the water in a mission led by SEAL Team 6. Ordering no quarter could legally perilous.

@BenLiddicott On-the-record quotes from inside sources (which is what the Post would have had to have for lawyers to sign off on the story) is most certainly evidence. You don't know the names of the sources. The Post reporters and editors do.

Excellent piece on the decision to execute helpless survivors: "The DOD Manual is clear because the law is clear: 'Persons who have been incapacitated by . . . shipwreck are in a helpless state, and it would be dishonorable and inhumane to make them the object of attack.'"

Would be interesting see Hegseth try to court-martial Mark Kelly, given that Kelly would undoubtedly subpoena Hegseth and Admiral Bradley to testify under oath about what orders were given during the September 2 operation.

@JRT163 @acnewsitics Wow. You are so focused on slamming Hegseth that you managed to insult thousands of other service members. But you don’t care at all. As long as you get your insults in. Really. Really bad comment here. Look inward. Your hate is getting out of hand.

@acnewsitics I mean, this is the real reason why hegseth hates Kelly. Jealousy. One is the unremarkable medals of a mediocre weekend warrior and the other is the impressive rack of an astronaut fighter pilot.

@justinamash Well. I don’t think you’re wrong. But I do believe the video was performative nonsense to cater to an ever-shrinking base as well. Two things ca both be true. I wish there were more people that could agree to both.

The chances of a successful prosecution here are zero point zero percent. Everything with this administration is performative nonsense to cater to an ever-shrinking base. We don’t live in North Korea. Anyone here can freely state that service members must refuse unlawful orders.
Department of War 🇺🇸@DeptofWar

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: The Department of War has received serious allegations of misconduct against Captain Mark Kelly, USN (Ret.). In accordance with the Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 688, and other applicable regulations, a thorough review of these allegations has been initiated to determine further actions, which may include recall to active duty for court-martial proceedings or administrative measures. This matter will be handled in compliance with military law, ensuring due process and impartiality. Further official comments will be limited, to preserve the integrity of the proceedings. The Department of War reminds all individuals that military retirees remain subject to the UCMJ for applicable offenses, and federal laws such as 18 U.S.C. § 2387 prohibit actions intended to interfere with the loyalty, morale, or good order and discipline of the armed forces. Any violations will be addressed through appropriate legal channels. All servicemembers are reminded that they have a legal obligation under the UCMJ to obey lawful orders and that orders are presumed to be lawful. A servicemember’s personal philosophy does not justify or excuse the disobedience of an otherwise lawful order.

Here is how you set up "interviews" with the "Seditious Six." You invite them to a U.S. Attorney's Office. You show them a GJ subpoena with their name on it, and you put it back in folder and put it in your desk. Then you ask if they are willing to answer questions. Then you advise them than false information would be subject to a Sec. 1001 prosecution. "Are you willing to answer questions today?"

This college student ended up deported without any further court hearing because when she was a child, unbeknownst to her, she was ordered deported. She had no idea, so she didn’t even know to have a lawyer try to reopen the case before it became a crisis.
Nayna Gupta@nayna_gupta

This week at Logan Airport, the Trump admin detained a freshman at Babson College heading home as a holiday surprise. They deported her in 48 hrs to Honduras which she left at six. She got no calls to her fam or lawyer & was deported for a removal order she didn’t know existed💔
