Yesterday we evacuated 41 dogs and three cats from Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk region. The woman who had been caring for them all had to evacuate due to the frontline getting closer to the city. Fortunately, she found a new place where she can live with all her animals.

Water helps animals stay healthy, hydrated and cool. And without it, they can easily overheat, lose consciousness or even die of a heart stroke 💔 Leave a bowl with fresh water outside for stray animals. Sometimes being kind is just that easy.

В Одесі біля будинку по вул. Скворцова, 4 - мразота, яка ще формально вважається людиною, вбила котика шляхом неодноразових ударів об кут будинка. З особливою жорстокістю. Потім воно викинуло тіло котика в смітник. Саме відео я не буду викладати, бо воно надто чуттєве. Справа в іншому. На місце кримінального злочину приїхала поліція, вилучила тіло вбитого котика. Але мразоту, яка скоїла злочин - відпустили без затримання. А те, що воно наробило - підпадає під ч.3 ст. 299 ККУ, там не можна просто так відпустити. Якщо мразота вбиває тварин - вона рано чи пізно "переключиться" на людей. Я дуже прошу поширити всюди цей текст, бо у нас поліція розуміє виключно розголос.

Yesterday we paid for the treatment of four animals: the dogs Bimal and Patron and the cats Bars and Cleo. The were handed over to us by the soldiers. Despite the vets’ efforts, Cleo couldn’t be saved, as she had panleukopenia. Other animals are on their way to recovery.

Oscar the cat had a hard journey to recovery. He was evacuated from the frontline by @AnimalRescueKh, and we paid for his treatment. Oscar’s caretaker was at first ready to take him back after recovery, but soon refused, and the shelter took him in. We wish a new family for him!

Fight, flight or freeze — that’s the life in survival mode for the animals of Ukraine. russia’s attacks kill them, and many more get traumatized physically and mentally. No one should live like this. Support Ukraine’s resistance and spread the word about russia’s war crimes!

This cat was rescued from a fire in Kharkiv ❤️‍🩹 Thanks to emergency workers and doctors, he survived and was handed back to his caretaker. Thank you to people who can’t ignore animal suffering and take action! 📸 @SESU_UA

Dana was severely injured in a russian airstrike in Kharkiv region. We covered her treatment, and she is now receiving the care she needs to recover❤️‍🩹 We also covered treatment for Lucy, a dog injured in shelling, and Fantik, another dog rescued from the frontline. Two kittens evacuated from Synelnykove in Dnipropetrovsk region became critically ill on the way to safety. We covered their emergency treatment at a partner veterinary clinic in Dnipro. Sadly, one kitten could not be saved, while the other remains under veterinary care 💔 We also covered treatment for three dogs once cared for by Ukrainian soldiers and five puppies in Kyiv region.

500 pink flamingos flew back to Tuzly Estuaries in Odesa region despite the war. In 2024 and 2025, they couldn’t breed because of constant explosions. And according the ecologist Ivan Rusev, there are documented cases when thousands of birds died after missile strikes. Ukrainian scientists and volunteers work relentlessly to save flamingos, protect them and track their population. So while the danger is always present, we don’t lose hope that nature can revive even in the darkest times.

Everyone needs to breathe, but with some conditions, it’s nearly impossible. So we bought four oxygen generators for animal shelters in Ukraine. These machines save lives. Thanks to our partners @tierschutz_bund many more animals will get a chance to live and breathe fully soon.

@UAnimalsENG Do you have need of donated medical supplies sent from USA, or are you able to source all you need and cash donations are better? I have some surgical drapes as in your picture, forceps, suture kits, 10ml saline flush syringes, povoiodine swabs, syringes, needles, scalpel blades.

There are 11 snake species in Ukraine, and only three of them are venomous. Because of human impact, including russia’s attacks and occupation, they lose their natural habitat and it gets harder each year for them to survive and procreate. Spread awareness about russia’s ecocide!

Our team arrived to Kharkiv to install equipment on the evacuation van. Meanwhile, @animalrescuekh rescued the animals in Druzhkivka, just kilometers away from the frontline in Donetsk region. We met in Kharkiv and picked the cats and dogs to drive them to safety.

Together with @AnimalRescueKh, we evacuated 24 animals yesterday. Our colleagues transported them out of Druzhkivka in Donetsk region, and we picked them up in Kharkiv and took them to their new homes. We also drove animals that had been evacuated earlier to their new homes.
