Unlike the old yellow boxes, these new cameras do NOT flash and do not require white lines painted on the road. Using advanced 4D imaging radar, a single camera can monitor speed, distance, elevation, and direction across five lanes of bi-directional traffic all at once. Despite a petition with over 2,200 signatures demanding they cancel the ticket, the council is refusing to back down.
